Halifax Jazz Festival adds Big Boi and St. Vincent to 2025 lineup

The TD Halifax Jazz Festival has announced the final headliners for its 2025 event, taking place July 15-20 on the Halifax waterfront. Big Boi, St. Vincent and Adam Baldwin round out the TD Main Stage lineup for the 39th edition of the festival.

Tickets for the newly announced shows go on sale Thursday, April 17 at 12 p.m. at halifaxjazzfestival.ca.

Big Boi, known for his work as one-half of OutKast, will perform on July 19. St. Vincent, returning to the festival after more than a decade, will close the event on July 20.

The free TD Main Stage night on July 16 will feature Adam Baldwin and The Jenny Wren. While general admission is free, limited paid seating options are available as add-ons.

Additional shows at the Lighthouse Arts Centre include Femi Kuti & The Positive Force (July 15), Bill Frisell (July 18), Endea Owens (July 19), and a special performance by Renee Rosnes with the Mike Murley Trio on July 19.

Other previously announced main stage performers include Iron & Wine with Sarah Harmer (July 17) and The Decemberists with Goldie Boutilier (July 18).
